Video: More Jobs Being Created Than Lost Because of AI.
https://youtu.be/BXc_6XxRctM?si=p_VoZ-IM3c3CxeKE
In the video, tech investor and White House AI advisor David Sacks argues that fears of widespread job losses due to artificial intelligence are overblown, claiming that current data show more jobs are being created than lost as AI adoption spreads and boosts productivity. He challenges the popular narrative that AI will decimate employment, saying that concerns about mass unemployment don’t align with the actual labor market trends and that AI is driving job growth and economic output. Sacks suggests that rather than automating work away, AI often augments human roles and creates new opportunities, emphasizing the need to focus on how people can use AI effectively rather than fear it.
Video: AI Eats the World. The Next Platform Shift.
https://youtu.be/RH9vJNxFKDA?si=Yz_OIaTN1iixadX9
In this video, technology analyst Benedict Evans joins Erik Torenberg to discuss how artificial intelligence may represent the next major platform shift, comparing its potential impact to past transformative technologies like the internet and electricity. They explore what’s real vs. hype in today’s AI landscape, examining how AI is reshaping tech companies’ strategies, the current limitations in everyday use cases, and the historical patterns that can help us understand where AI might lead. The conversation also looks at bottlenecks like computing power, the kinds of AI-driven products that have yet to emerge, and what would need to happen for AI to become even more transformative than the internet, stressing that while AI’s potential is enormous, its ultimate effects are still unfolding.
Video: AI Is Coming For These 3 Industries In 2026.
https://youtu.be/BkJyVjq457w?si=2jrYs75z2PtvwDQl
In this a16z Big Ideas 2026 video, the speaker explains how artificial intelligence is set to disrupt and transform three major industry areas by 2026, focusing on how AI will be deeply integrated into the industrial economy, physical infrastructure, and traditional sectors like energy, manufacturing, and logistics. They argue that AI won’t just improve software products but will reshape the electro-industrial stack—bringing intelligence into machines, factories, and supply chains—and drive a renaissance in how goods are built, moved, and powered, ultimately altering the backbone of modern industry and creating new opportunities for innovation and economic growth.
Video: Powering the AI Law Firm with Harvey.
https://youtu.be/Y-jsJUngyFU?si=lmWL7G_VpT61v_1P
In this Greylock Change Agents video, legal and tech leaders discuss how Harvey’s AI platform is reshaping law firms by automating and enhancing legal work, moving beyond simple tools to systems that can support complex workflows, research, and client deliverables. They explore Harvey’s strategy of integrating advanced agent-like AI into legal processes, how it impacts traditional billable-hour models, and the opportunities — and challenges — of using generative AI to streamline tasks that previously took significant human effort, such as drafting, document review, and legal analysis, while still requiring careful oversight by lawyers. The conversation highlights the evolving role of AI in augmenting legal expertise, boosting efficiency, and transforming how firms operate internally and serve clients.
Video: AI Assistants. The Unicorn Founder Who Delegated Everything.
https://youtu.be/MT4l_XrrRNc?si=2KCFAMPCvj-BASaL
In this a16z interview, founder and investor Jonathan Swanson (builder of Thumbtack and Athena) explains how strategic delegation — especially combining human and AI assistants — has been central to his success both personally and professionally. He discusses how effective delegation allows founders to focus on high-impact work, why many leaders struggle to delegate well, and how systems and culture around delegation can scale an organization. The conversation also explores how delegation isn’t just about offloading tasks but creating leverage through people, processes, and increasingly AI-enabled workflows to operate at much larger scale.
Video: Sam Altman. How OpenAI Wins, ChatGPT’s Future, AI Buildout Logic, IPO in 2026?
https://youtu.be/2P27Ef-LLuQ?si=gq2ZUX-4PbkydyNk
In this interview, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman discusses the company’s strategy for maintaining leadership in the increasingly competitive AI landscape, explaining how OpenAI approaches competition with a “code red” mindset to stay alert to threats and rapidly innovate, emphasizing that building a full ecosystem of coordinated products around top-tier models — not just the models themselves — is key to success. He also talks about the importance of AI infrastructure and compute investment, the push toward deeper personalization and memory capabilities, the shift from consumer to enterprise focus, expectations for next-generation models and hardware, and how AI might reshape work and scientific discovery — all while outlining a roadmap that could culminate in significant new releases and possibly an IPO around 2026.
